Dilsen-Stokkem bakery converts buns and patisserie into energy

Generating green energy using food waste. That's the concept behind the biotransformer from the Diepenbeek-based company Circologic. Bemong bakery from Dilsen-Stokkem is now putting the machine through its paces with a view to powering its cold stores. "We generate energy with the left-over buns and patisserie."
