The first car enters the new multi-storey car park at Bouwcampus

DIEPENBEEK – POM Limburg and the province of Limburg open the multi-storey car park they realised together at Bouwcampus (Building Campus) 2.0. In the presence of Deputy Tom Vandeput and Mayor Rik Kriekels, the first car drove into the brand-new multi-storey car park. Having opened even before the new academic year gets under way, this new car park will ensure that sufficient free parking is available for visitors to the campus and for students. The car park provides spaces for 350 cars, but can be expanded later to include 500 spaces. This development involved constructing a multi-storey car park, largely on the site of the existing car park. As such, the impact on the natural environment was kept to a minimum. The structure was commissioned by the Limburg provincial government and Limburg DC and was executed by POM Limburg.
