Limburgers Worldwide® is a professional community of expats and Limburgers worldwide, and a dependable source of high quality regional economic news, job opportunities, community events and expat testimonials.

The Provincial Development Agency of the Belgian province of Limburg POM Limburg, established a strategic partnership with news media agency Mediahuis with its newspaper Het Belang van Limburg to reach Limburgers across the world and expats living in Limburg.

Bulletin Media, a renowned English-language magazine that’s been serving the international community for more than 60 years, joined forces with Limburgers Worldwide. This collaboration enables Limburgers to stay connected with their home base and peers by providing news about the region through a community network on LinkedIn and an informative news website

Our joint mission is to ensure that Limburg shows off its assets as an innovative and competitive knowledge region in order to welcome new talents and businesses.

Team Limburgers Worldwide

POM Limburg

The Provincial Development Agency POM Limburg is the economic director of Limburg. Commissioned by the provincial government, POM outlines the regional economic strategy.

As a leading organization, POM Limburg provides the strategic framework for the socioeconomic transformation plan for the region, orienting more than 150 million European transition funds. POM develops 200 hectares of business sites and creates new campuses all over Limburg.

POM accelerates the digitization, sustainability and innovation of the Limburg economy, for example for the plastics industry, logistics and smart manufacturing. POM increases its impact on the region by coordinating, as a partner in European programs, prestigious future projects such as the Einstein Telescope.

With its department Welcome Management and Expat Centre Limburg service, the main objective is the reception and support of international talents and businesses.

Het Belang van Limburg

The title of the highly circulated newspaper Het Belang van Limburg, belonging to the Mediahuis group, is also its mission: to stand up for the interests of Limburg and its citizens and to reach Limburgers around the world from the perspective of ‘Limburg Citizen, Global Citizen’.

The newspaper looks at everything that is happening in Limburg in relation to the world and plays a strong connecting role in the community.
