€3.4 million in Flemish subsidies for biomedical research complex and high-tech movement and rehabilitation lab at UHasselt

Health Campus Limburg DC continues to take shape. A new biomedical research complex will open at the Diepenbeek campus in 2026, developing advanced healthcare technologies. A European first, the high-tech MOVE Lab, which will analyse movement and rehabilitation, will also be housed on the Health Campus. The project is budgeted at €13.6 million. In addition to previous subsidies from the European Regional Development Fund, the Flemish government is now also making €3.4 million available.
