Equine clinic in Bree works to produce a Limburg-made vaccine to help horses with osteoarthritis

At his equine clinic in Bree, the veterinary surgeon Jan Spaas is planning to develop a new vaccine to combat joint problems in horses. Some 1.5 million horses are said to suffer from osteoarthritis. Spaas plans to develop the drug in collaboration with a doctoral student from Limburg.
