Renewable energy crucial for a sustainable Einstein Telescope

Under the impetus of POM Limburg, Hasselt-based YPTF-Engineering identified the energy consumption of the Einstein Telescope. The study shows that solar energy is the most suitable energy source for the telescope. The deployment of renewable energy significantly strengthens the sustainability nature of the Meuse-Rhine candidacy. The results will be presented at the FTI Hasselt innovation festival on 19 March.
