Collaborative robots enhance manufacturing companies

In the manufacturing industry, 80% of finishing operations are still performed manually. This heavy work is not only physically taxing, but the particles released can also be harmful to employees' health. In order to address this, POM Limburg is aiming to accelerate the introduction of collaborative robots, or cobots, with European and provincial support. Along with Sirris, SyntraPXL and Dutch partners, POM is launching the Interreg project COBOTASSIST.
