The manufacturing industry has changed tremendously in recent decades. In 2023, customers want faster delivery times, customised products in small batches and flexible manufacturers. For many companies, making this switch is not easy: As an SME, how do you bring that flexibility into your production process? Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) can provide an answer. This is why POM Limburg, the Limburg provincial government and Sirris initiated the Interreg project QRM4.0. For one week, a coach provided targeted guidance to companies in their production process. The accumulated knowledge will later be shared with other Limburg manufacturing companies. We visited four companies to see how they are already doing it.
